Application: Conductive filament for 3D printers. Design / Construction: The conductive filament from the 3DXSTAT product line combines the strengths of PETG filament with the ability to conduct electricity or to be an ESD safe connection. Processing on FDM 3D printers a la Makerbot and Ultimaker is no problem and comparable to "normal" PETG filament. Due to the multi-walled carbon nanotubes, the excellent quality and the professional extrusion, the ESD PETG becomes a very good to process application temperature (min/max °C): Print temperature between 230-260 °C Print bed temperature: 60-90 °C Color(s): black Main features: Compared to other ESD/Conductive filaments, PETG has many advantages such as high resistance to chemicals and low water absorption. Manufacturer's Information: 10^7 to 10^9 ohms Technical Note: 3DXTech internal studies have shown that increased extruder temperatures can achieve higher conductivity values. Likewise, lower extruder temperatures resulted in lower conductivity levels. However, under no circumstances should you go above 270 °C or you risk decomposition of the material.
